

Grech earned his Master's Degree in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University in 2016 and his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University in 2010. His coaching experience includes 18 seasons as a varsity football coach, seven seasons as a middle school basketball coach and six seasons as a middle school track coach. He will continue to teach social studies at SMS. Grech began his career at SPS teaching at Douglas Elementary School in 2003 and transitioned to Saugatuck Middle School as a social studies teacher in 2010.

Roman, the 2023 Sentinel Varsity player of the year, helped Hagerty reach the FHSAA Class 6A.
